Introduction
The company is seeking a motivated and skilled Design & Release Engineer to work on Vehicle Handles, Locks, and Mechanisms for various vehicle closures. This role involves contributing to advancements in autonomy, electrification, and smart mobility technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of engineering experience in design, development, or launch of automotive mechanisms.
- CAD Capable (such as CATIA, 3DX, Teamcenter) & familiarity with CAE tools and software.
- Proficient in MS Office apps such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and MS Azure SharePoint.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in design and release of latching mechanisms, closure systems, or related mechanism applications.
- Software literacy and mechatronics experience.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead HLM system design and development to deliver regulatory, requirement, design rules, and functional deliverables.
- Manage and lead HLM suppliers to comply with program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust system at vehicle level.
