    Description

    • Reports to (Design) Quantities Manager
    • Performs quantity takeoffs using project plans, specifications, and digital tools in support of bids and design-build pursuits.
    • Maintains quantity workpapers, assumptions, and backups to support quantity reviews, quantity growth evaluations, and bid documentation.
    • Supports standardized quantity tracking templates across Lane operational projects and follows established procedures and software standards.
    • Coordinates across Lane operational projects with Engineers, Cost Control and BIM/modeling resources to interpret scope and identify quantity drivers and design risks.
    • Assists with quantity variance reviews on Lane operational projects by comparing project quantities at various stages to bid quantities and highlighting discrepancies and required clarifications.
    • Participates in structured meetings and occasional site visits to understand constructability and confirm quantity assumptions.
    • Travel required to visit Lane operational projects approximately 20%.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education

    Bachelor''s Degree

    Employment Conditions

    Quantity takeoff and estimating software experience preferred (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS/HeavyBid, Agtek, P6 Primavera).

    10 years of engineering/estimating experience in heavy civil construction
