Design Engineer

DCS has a part-time opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking to pursue a career in a laboratory setting. This position will support ongoing testing and development in Warren, Mi. Our team is working to create next-generation testing technology that spans a significant range, including full vehicle, sub-system and component testing design and development.

Essential Job Functions:

Create fixture designs.

Proficient in solid works software.

Understanding of material and mechanical properties.

Create and manage fixture RFQs.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Must have a minimum of a bachelor's engineering degree.

Must be able to pass a National Agency Background Check.

Ability to work safely in a changing environment.

Ability to work well in team-oriented environments.

Highly motivated problem solver.
