Design Engineer responsible for developing and modifying 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, layouts, and product designs using CATIA V5/V6. Supports engineering projects through design analysis, issue resolution, BOM management, technical documentation, supplier coordination, and product development activities. Works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet quality, cost, weight, performance, and project schedule requirements.
- Requires a BS or MS in engineering and all the skills and abilities of Engineer L2.
- Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
- Must be able to work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
- Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
- Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.
