  • Review and validate supplier tooling designs and authorize release for production when appropriate.
  • Coordinate design reviews and engineering documentation with project management and manufacturing teams.
  • Partner with Quality teams to validate tooling and support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
  • Manage tooling development projects from order receipt through first production run.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tooling safety, ergonomics, efficiency, and process consistency through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Research new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to support customer and business objectives.
  • Provide regular project updates and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product, process, manufacturing, or tooling engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of 3D CAD modeling experience.
  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
