Design Director

Small but mighty Packaging Design Firm is expanding. This crew is a tight knit team working on Food, Bev, and Snacks CPG. The work is lively and the client relationships are solid. Think of the old personal approach to business with talented designers and a great sales team. This role needs to be able to Lead Creative and be hands-on. Design, Direct and develop trust with clients. This role may be remote, but the ability to come into the Chicago office a day or two a week would be a plus. Clients include big name corporations and small chain identity work. The right candidate is still invested in hands-on, and interested in mentoring Junior Talent. The ability to work directly with clients and take some of the burden off of the Creative Director is key. Room for growth. Portfolio must contain award winning packaging work, and show the ability to work with Strategy and great type.
