Our client is a privately owned design-build engineering and construction specialist delivering complex industrial and advanced manufacturing projects across North America. With a strong track record in regulated environments such as aerospace, life sciences, and semiconductor facilities, the business is known for combining in-house engineering, construction, and commissioning expertise. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will report to Senior Project Managers and Project Directors, supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to handover while working closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders.

  • Assist with the management of industrial, manufacturing, and cleanroom construction projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support cost control, scheduling, procurement, reporting, and change management activities
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Assist with client communications, project meetings, and stakeholder coordination
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, safety compliance, quality standards, and project progress
  • Support pre-construction activities including budgeting, planning, risk assessments, and bid reviews
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused project environment while developing project management expertise

For the Assistant Project Manager role, we are seeking:

  • 2-5 years' experience within construction project management, project engineering, field engineering, or project coordination
  • Experience on industrial, manufacturing, design-build, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or aerospace projects preferred
  • Exposure to project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative, team-first approach
