    Position Description:

    CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Director to provide executive level leadership in support of a major federal modernization initiative. This role acts as the Program Director's senior trusted partner, responsible for driving strategic execution, overseeing multi team performance, and ensuring alignment across engineering, migration, cloud, security, and operations. The Deputy Program Director provides high impact leadership across multi vendor environments and ensures the program maintains velocity, governance compliance, and readiness for major decision points.

    This position requires demonstrated experience leading enterprise scale, multi year programs, preferably within national security or federal law enforcement missions.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Executive Program Leadership

    • Serve as the senior deputy to the Program Director, leading daily operational and strategic execution across all functional areas.
    • Provide leadership oversight for multi disciplinary teams operating across Huntsville and Quantico.
    • Direct program governance structures, executive reporting, decision management, and contract compliance.

    Enterprise Coordination & Integration

    • Align activities across migration, DevSecOps, systems engineering, data operations, and O&M workstreams.
    • Drive cross team synchronization, risk management, and operational readiness for major delivery milestones.
    • Ensure integration points across systems, pipelines, cloud environments, and data migration flows are properly managed.

    Government Interface & Stakeholder Management

    • Represent program leadership in briefings with senior government officials, mission owners, COR/CO, and governance bodies.
    • Lead executive level communication, decision papers, status briefings, and performance reviews.
    • Ensure stakeholders have timely visibility into risks, schedule impacts, and operational dependencies.

    Operational Oversight & Performance Management

    • Oversee staffing strategies, leadership assignments, onboarding processes, credentialing, and workforce planning.
    • Manage high level operational rhythms, reporting cycles, and enterprise dashboards.
    • Maintain accountability for meeting contractual deliverables, quality thresholds, and government acceptance criteria.

    Strategic Risk & Issue Management

    • Own program wide risk posture, mitigation strategy, and issue escalation mechanisms.
    • Direct corrective actions across all teams to maintain stability and delivery trajectory.
    • Ensure alignment with governance frameworks, compliance standards, and FBI program constraints.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Must have Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship.
    • Bachelor's degree and 8-12+ years of experience in executive program leadership supporting federal or national security missions.
    • Demonstrated success as a director level leader overseeing large, complex, multi team modernization or migration programs.
    • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams (cloud, data, security, DevSecOps, software).
    • Strong executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-support skills.
    • Experience managing enterprise risk, readiness cycles, and governance compliance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior leadership experience supporting DOJ, FBI, or Intelligence Community programs.
    • Experience with major data migration, legacy system modernization, or classified environment operations.
    • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe SPC, or ITIL.
    • Demonstrated executive leadership in multi-vendor or multi contract environments.

    Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
