POSITION DUTIES
Join the Comptrollerâs Office in the heart of downtown Annapolis. The Comptroller of Maryland is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join its senior management team as one of our Program Manager Senior II (Deputy Director) within the Revenue Administration Division (RAD) management team. This role provides leadership that ensures all processes align with the mission of the Division.Â
The successful candidate will be a mission and values driven leader who brings expertise in guiding and developing cross-functional teams, business planning, forecasting and has experience driving operational efficiency. Most importantly, they will be a collaborator and partner who will help to support the Revenue Administration Divisionâs goals and strategic modernization plans.Â
The Program Manager Senior II (Deputy Director) will oversee and lead various teams within the division while strengthening the systems and practices needed to support recent and longer-term growth. This position will act as a liaison between internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring that all program services and resources are delivered effectively and efficiently.Â
Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating, and supporting the operations and will assist the RAD Director in the administration of the division, including strategic planning. This position also represents the division in special projects, programs, committees, and other high-profile assignments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: Seven years of progressively responsible management experience in accounting, finance, administrative or operations leadership positions.
