THIS POSITION HEADQUARTERS IS LOCATED IN DORCHESTER, SC.
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to be responsible for the oversight of the operation of the day-to-day functions of the Dorchester County Facilities Department to include supervising the Landscape Manager and Buildings Manager.
This position works under administrative supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree in building trade(s), facility maintenance, building construction or a closely related field.
At least two (2) years of facility maintenance, building construction or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Managerial experience in the facilities field or related field required..
Special Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
Certification for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) or electrical maintenance and repair.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employees must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Employees must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays during emergencies or as requested. This is a safety sensitive position and employees holding this position have the responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. This position is subject to random drug testing.
