Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Are you detail oriented? The City of Wylie Municipal Court is seeking a Deputy Court Clerk. The selected applicant will maintain court records, assist the Judge and Prosecutor, assist customers on the telephone and in person at the cashiers window, implement office procedures and does related work as required. Works as part of a team.
Supervision is provided by the Court Administrator.
Salary negotiable within posted range only: $20.00/hour to $23.00/hour. Municipal Court works four ten hour days each week.
Essential Job Functions
Minimum Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Four years general business and clerical experience involving customer contact and fiscal responsibility. Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) training courses as outlined by Emergency Management after hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A desirable candidate has a working knowledge of court operations, policies and procedures. Level I of the Municipal Court Clerk Certification through the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC) or the ability to obtain this certification within two years of employment.
