    At the Clerk of Courts Office, our Deputy Clerk Cashiers play a pivotal role in the Court System. A Deputy Clerk Cashier is not only responsible for the acceptance of payments to be applied to Court Costs, Fines, and Restitution; but also responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all individuals who come to the Costs and Fines Counter, greeting and assisting individuals inquiring about payments, balances, and monies owed. As a Deputy Clerk Cashier, you will be expected to communicate well with the other members of your team, respond to inquiries via email, telephone, and in person, and perform assessments of cases that are being disposed of in the courtroom in real time. Previous experience in cashiering and customer service or public facing roles is a bonus!     Processing payments by cash, check, money order, credit card and ACH. Monitoring cases to be assessed from various court hearings on a daily basis. Assessing bills received from various other offices. Responding to voicemails, answering phone calls, and responding to email inquiries. Resolve issues and respond to inquiries at the Costs and Fines window. Balance cashier drawer at the end of each day. Process wage attachments and paid in full letters. Process daily deposit. Communicate with other team members utilizing Microsoft Teams. Reply to members of other county offices in a polite and respectful manner. Send Wage Attachment information by first class mail for ARD's. Perform assessments of cases to be considered for the ARD Program at the request of the District Attorney's Office.
