The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of local government operations, economic development strategies, and community-building initiatives. Successful candidates will possess:
Experience in public sector, local government, nonprofit, economic development, or related organizations.
Knowledge of grant management, contract administration, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Experience working with land use, development review processes, redevelopment projects, or community development initiatives.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage elected officials, business leaders, developers, community organizations, and residents.
Demonstrated success leading complex projects from concept through implementation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including policy development and public presentations.
Experience in retail management, commercial development, business recruitment, or related economic development activities is highly desirable.
The ability to navigate complex issues, build consensus, and deliver innovative solutions that advance community goals.
