Summary Statement
The Delaware Judicial Branch seeks a dynamic, highly organized Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) to support the CIO in leading the Judicial Information Center and advancing its strategic technology vision.
Reporting to the CIO, the Deputy CIO provides executive leadership and operational oversight across enterprise technology services, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, data, end-user services, and technology procurement. The position helps ensure secure, reliable, user-centered technology that supports court operations, improves efficiency, and expands access to judicial services.
The Deputy CIO also plays a key role in technology strategy, governance, resource planning, organizational performance, and workforce development. The ideal candidate is a strategic, collaborative, and motivational leader with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to lead teams, foster accountability, and deliver results in a complex, mission-driven environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical and non-technical subject matter.
Proven leadership skills with expertise in continuous improvement, team development, and coaching.
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied to both operational and technical situations.
