Depot Service Engineer Pay Rate: $25/hour  Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Depot Service Engineer to support device preparation, configuration, and technical support activities in a fast-paced IT environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and deploy Windows and macOS devices.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Perform basic hardware and software diagnostics.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Assist with hands-on support activities and escalated service requests.
  • Prepare devices for deployment, including imaging and asset tagging.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure an organized workspace.
  • Follow established procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow documented processes and work independently.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Torrance, CA.
Preferred Certifications
  • Microsoft MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • Relevant service desk or IT support certifications are a plus.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous technical support experience, internships, or coursework in IT is a plus but not required.
Schedule
  • Full-time, onsite position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Standard business hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
