Location Baldwin, LA

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent management experience in warehouse logistics
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners, racking systems, and packing equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (Clearly, Inventory software experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and collaboration tools such as Teams or Zoom
  • Experience in maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance

Key Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and partners

  • Expertise in inventory control and logistics coordination

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and operational software

  • Ability to analyze operational data and improve workflow processes Additional Requirements

  • Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling safety procedures

  • Experience developing operational procedures, training documentation, or policies

  • Valid driver's license required for transportation and logistics activities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the purchasing, shipping, receiving, processing, and storage of disaster relief materials
  • Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment to ensure supplies are available when needed
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to partners and response teams
  • Supervise warehouse staff and volunteers, providing guidance, training, and performance support
  • Maintain clear communication with suppliers, vendors, partners, and internal departments
  • Prepare operational reports and performance metrics, and recommend process improvements
  • Respond to relief supply inquiries and requests via phone and email
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse regulations, including conducting safety audits and training
  • Maintain depot facilities, equipment, and organized storage systems
  • Support additional operations such as mail pickups, donation handling, and special distribution programs
