Position Overview: National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Deployment Specialist to support its mission of providing excellent, accessible care to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. This role involves a strong ability to manage and track project timelines. Individual must be skilled at holding hospital teams and internal stakeholders accountable for deliverables. The Deployment Specialist will be competent and effective in coordinating multiple departments and managing onboarding progress. This is a remote role with heavy travel, targeted at 75%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive training sessions for hospital leadership teams, focusing on change management and workflows, sharing best practices.
• Working across function with Marketing, IT, Apps/Products and product team to update progress and address/solve roadblocks.
• Regular communication cadence with Operations team to update them on status, challenges and next steps.
• Proficient in identifying, escalating, and resolving deployment-related issues in collaboration with PIMS team, development partners, and hospital team.
• Partnering with configuration specialist to ensure proper system setup and smooth launch.

• A structured approach to overseeing all phases of a project, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while managing resources, stakeholders, and risks to achieve specific goals.
• The coordination and allocation of personnel, materials, and finances to optimize project outcomes and maintain efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• The integration of project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring alignment and value delivery to stakeholders.

Training & Leadership

• Gather, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics to gauge a hospital's preparedness for a PIMS deployment
• The ability to guide, influence, or direct individuals or groups toward achieving common goals or objectives.
• The act of inspiring and motivating team members, making strategic decisions, and fostering a collaborative environment to drive organizational success.

Communication

• The process of exchanging information, ideas, or feelings through verbal, non-verbal, written, or visual means.
• The act of conveying messages clearly and effectively within an organization to facilitate collaboration, decision-making, and relationship-building.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability

• The capacity to embrace change, learn new skills, and modify approaches in response to evolving demands and shifting priorities.
• The ability to adjust to new conditions, changes, or challenges in one's environment or circumstances.

• The ability to notice and consider the finer points or specific elements of a task, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• A critical skill that involves meticulously reviewing work, identifying errors, and ensuring that all aspects of a project or task are completed and documented to the highest standard.
• The discipline of cultivating a mindset that prioritizes careful observation and conscientiousness in daily activities, leading to improved outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience in veterinary or healthcare systems implementation or hospital operations preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Xcel, Smartsheets, PowerBI)

Location:

Remote with 75% travel.

Compensation:

The total compensation range for the position is between $100,000-$125,000 with opportunity for benefits.

• Role is a temporary assignment for between 18 months and 2 years.
