What You Will Do:

Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and report progress to Operations Systems and Construction leadership

Technical Oversight
The Controls Project Manager oversees the rollout of BMS, DCIM, and EPMS systems for new data center builds, managing projects from design through commissioning. They handle budgeting, vendor onboarding, and coordination with internal and external partners to ensure on-time delivery, alignment with design, and full system functionality within the construction schedule.
Procurement & Financial Management
Support procurement activities including RFP development, RFIs, vendor evaluations, and purchase order issuance
Manage financial aspects of controls construction contracts, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines
Commissioning & Field Support
Support and oversee controls-related commissioning activities
Conduct regular site visits to active construction projects to verify installation quality and vendor compliance
Ensure all work meets design requirements and applicable codes (e.g., NEC)
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in controls or electrical construction project management
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or other related engineering degrees preferred.
5+ years of experience working with controls systems in critical environments (e.g., data centers, manufacturing, oil & gas, power)
Strong understanding of:
Industrial controls systems
Engineering documentation and electrical diagrams
Standard operating procedures
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and competing priorities
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
