Deployment and Testing Technician - Murdoch Center

Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of devices to ensure readiness for Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and go-live. - Participate in team meetings, share deployment/testing updates, and collaborate effectively with IT and clinical teams.

Job Summary (List Format): IT Deployment and Testing Technician

- Deploy and configure computers, peripherals, printers, and related hardware in clinical and administrative settings.
- Install required software and configure systems according to organizational standards and security policies.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral issues; escalate complex problems to IT support as needed.
- Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of devices to ensure readiness for Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and go-live.
- Validate device connectivity, application performance, and Epic workflow functionality.
- Document deployment activities, hardware configurations, and testing results.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to schedule installations and minimize operational disruptions.
- Provide basic user training and support for deployed devices and systems.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to post-deployment reporting, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Participate in team meetings, share deployment/testing updates, and collaborate effectively with IT and clinical teams.
- May require evening or weekend work and travel between facilities as needed.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs; work in various healthcare environments.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years' experience in IT hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Epic or other EHR systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows system deployment and configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred.
