Job Summary (List Format) for IT Deployment and Testing Technician:
- Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals in clinical and administrative environments. - Install required software and ensure all system configurations meet organizational and security standards. - Conduct basic hardware and software troubleshooting; escalate complex issues as needed. - Perform end-to-end testing on devices to validate readiness for Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and go-live. - Document and report on hardware deployments, testing outcomes, and troubleshooting steps. - Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate device installations and minimize workflow disruptions. - Assist with user training and provide support on device usage. - Maintain accurate inventory and configuration records of deployed equipment. - Participate in team meetings and update on deployment/testing progress. - Requires Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT, with 1-3 years in hardware deployment or troubleshooting. - Preferred skills include experience with Epic/EHR systems and IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various clinical settings, with occasional travel and flexible hours.
