Deployment and Testing Technician - Black Mountain & JFK ADATC

Preferred qualifications: Associate's degree (or equivalent experience), 1-3 years in IT hardware deployment, familiarity with healthcare IT/Epic, and IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.). - Conduct end-to-end device testing, especially for Epic system readiness (Technical Dress Rehearsal/TDR).

Job Summary (List Format): IT Deployment and Testing Technician

- Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals in clinical and administrative settings.
- Install software and ensure proper system/application configurations in line with organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues; escalate complex issues to IT support as needed.
- Conduct end-to-end device testing, especially for Epic system readiness (Technical Dress Rehearsal/TDR).
- Test connectivity, application performance, and Epic workflow functionality on deployed devices.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware deployments, configurations, and testing outcomes.
- Document troubleshooting steps, testing procedures, and contribute to post-deployment reports.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to schedule installations and minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist with user training and provide basic guidance on using new devices and systems.
- Participate in team meetings, providing progress updates on deployments and testing.
- May require lifting/transporting equipment (up to 50 lbs) and traveling between facilities.
- Full-time position; may require occasional evening or weekend work for projects.
