The Department Secretary - Per Diem (days) in REHAB ADMIN provides administrative and public relations support for their department.
Responsibilities include maintaining communication between patients, families, and staff;
performing receptionist and clerical tasks such as managing electronic medical records, greeting patients, and coordinating communication;
handling operational duties like scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and organizing events;
addressing customer concerns with empathetic, culturally sensitive care;
and performing additional duties as needed.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with one year of college preferred. A secretarial or Liberal Arts degree and certification as a Health Unit Coordinator are desirable.
