Job Summary: Reporting to the Chair of the Nursing Department, the Clinical Lecturer, Assistant Professor (Tenure Track), or Associate Professor (Tenure Track) will teach nursing courses in SFCs growing nursing programs, including its CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate Nursing program. Specialization in Medical-Surgical or Obstetrics/Womens Health is preferred. Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and teach College-approved courses in accordance with course descriptions and schedules, including developing syllabi, reading lists, and keeping course content current. Engage with multiple constituencies, including students, faculty, staff, and external agencies (business, community, educational, etc.). Participate in departmental responsibilities, including selecting course texts and related teaching resources. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. Attend and participate in convocation, commencement, and pinning ceremonies. Serve on assigned committees and task forces. Participate in committee, staff, informational, and professional meetings, including occasional evening or weekend events. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Perform other teaching and related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution. Current, unencumbered New York State RN license or eligibility to obtain one. At least two years of college teaching experience. At least four years of recent nursing experience in medical-surgical, obstetrics/womens health, critical care, pediatrics, or acute rehabilitation nursing. Commitment to undergraduate teaching and student-faculty collaborative research. Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and assessment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse college community. Commitment to the Colleges mission and its students, faculty, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate in nursing or a related field. At least one year of college teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program (minimum of 24 credits). Experience with online instruction and platforms such as Blackboard, Canvas, or Moodle. Background in curriculum development, program assessment, and evaluation. Experience facilitating high- and low-fidelity simulations.
