Position/Rank Assistant Professor to Professor Department 01945 - General Neurology City Salt Lake City, UT Track Track Dependent on Qualifications New Position to Begin 2024-2025 Details
The Department of Neurology is offering General Neurologists unsurpassed opportunities to join an outstanding academic medical center which covers a 5 state region: a referral center for an area approximating 10% of the United States land mass and a population of about 7 million. The position requires the candidate to be BE/BC in Neurology; and is in the Clinical Track, with opportunity to develop almost any personal area(s) of interest in clinical research, teaching etc.
Appointment rank will be dependent upon qualifications. Practice will be based at the University outpatient clinics but may also entail any of several affiliated community clinics. There are opportunities to work with an array of neurology sub-specialists. There are also educational opportunities to work in the medical school, residency and fellowships. Consult Service and Ward time is optional, and call may be non-existent depending on your professional preferences. Compensation is comparable to academic institutions and the benefits packages are generous. Outdoor opportunities abound with world class skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting, soccer, and numerous university sports/events and great local culture.
