    Description

    The Department of Finance, Division of Real Estate in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for part-time Faculty Associate positions to teach undergraduate and/or Master's graduate courses in the field of real estate. Areas of instruction may include real estate fundamentals, appraisal, law, land development, investments, financial analysis for commercial real estate, development and project management, design of the built environment, engineering and construction management, property development, and other special topics in real estate.

    These positions are one semester appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. A typical Faculty Associate course load is one to two classes per semester. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes). Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.

    Anticipated start date is Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
