We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Dental Patient Service Specialist to join our team at MyCHN Westwood. If you have a passion for helping patients, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being the welcoming face of a dental practice, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a Dental Patient Service Specialist, you will:

• Welcome and assist patients throughout their dental visit
• Schedule, confirm, and prepare patient appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records in OpenEMR
• Verify insurance coverage and collect patient payments
• Provide Good Faith Estimates and explain financial responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries
• Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth operations
• Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
• Support the front office in achieving an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience
• Knowledge of dental scheduling and insurance verification
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with OpenEMR
• Knowledge of Good Faith Estimates and patient financial counseling
