Crawford Implant & Laser Periodontics is a private, two-doctor periodontal and implant practice located in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a busy, well-established specialty practice seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to support our growing patient base.


This position is ideal for a dental professional who values professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork, and who is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient daily operations.


Key Responsibilities


·       Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for patients, in person and by phone


·       Coordinate and schedule periodontal and implant appointments efficiently


·       Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and in a timely manner


·       Communicate insurance information, scheduling details, and next steps clearly with patients 


·       Work closely with doctors and clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow

         Good time management, able to prioritize job responsibilities 
     
·       Maintain accurate patient records, schedules, and insurance documentation


·       Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and support overall office operations

Educate patients, to understand value of investing in their oral health to help improve their overall quality of health 


Qualifications


·       Minimum of 3 years dental office experience required


·       Previous dental front office or patient coordinator experience preferred


·       Dentrix experience strongly preferred


·       Proven experience with dental insurance verification


·       Strongorganizational and time-management skills


·       Professional, confident communication style


·       Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced specialty practice


·       Big-picture thinker with strong attention to detail and accountability
