About the Role:Casa Smiles is looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager / Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic orthodontic team in Coral Gables, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead front office operations and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences from the very first smile.
Responsibilities:- Oversee daily front office operations and ensure smooth workflow across the orthodontic practice
- Manage patient billing, insurance claims, and orthodontic treatment contract collections
- Verify insurance eligibility, process claims, and follow up on outstanding balances and EOBs
- Coordinate patient scheduling, appointments, and treatment plan presentations
- Supervise and support front desk staff, providing training and performance guidance
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate with orthodontists and clinical team to align administrative and patient care goals
Requirements:- Minimum 2–3 years of dental or orthodontic office management and/or billing experience
- Strong knowledge of dental/orthodontic insurance billing, coding (CDT codes), and claims processing
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dolphin, Dentrix, or similar)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced orthodontic environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for serving the Coral Gables community
