    Cornerstone Dental Health is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Office Assistant/Floater to join our growing team in Quincy, IL. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

     

    Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Dental experience is preferred, but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

    Schedule

    • Full-Time | Monday–Friday

    Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly bonus opportunities

    Position Responsibilities

    As a Dental Assistant/Floater, you will support both clinical and front office operations, including:

    • Greeting patients and serving as a welcoming point of contact
    • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
    • Checking patients in and out efficiently
    • Assisting with patient care coordination and communication
    • Managing patient records accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
    • Processing patient payments, insurance verification, and claims assistance
    • Providing chairside dental assisting support
    • Performing sterilization and infection control duties, including maintenance of equipment such as ultrasonic cleaners, Statim units, autoclaves, and vacuum systems
    • Supporting daily administrative and operational tasks as needed
    • Utilizing strong computer, phone, and customer service skills to enhance the patient experience

    Qualifications

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Comfortable working with computers and phones
    • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
    • Dental experience preferred, but not required
    • Recent graduates welcome to apply
