About the Role:Comfort Dental Thompson Valley in Loveland, CO is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our front office team. This is a key role where you'll help ensure patients receive a seamless experience from the moment they schedule their appointment. Responsibilities:- Multitask in a busy environment
- Lead and oversee the dental insurance verification process for all incoming patients
- Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details with dental insurance carriers prior to appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records within the practice management software
- Coordinate with billing and scheduling teams to resolve insurance discrepancies
- Monitor verification workflows to ensure timely completion and minimize claim denials
Requirements:- Candidates should have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of PPOs and Medicaid
- 1-2 years of dental insurance verification or dental front office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Reliability and flexibility are required
- Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix)
- Excellent communication and patient-facing customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to delegate and support a team in a busy dental office setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative certification a plus
