Our team values excellent communications, efficiency, and creating a welcoming experience for every patient.

    We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable individual to join our team at the front desk. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, from greeting patients to managing insurance processes and scheduling.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet patients warmly and professionally assist with check-in/check-out procedures while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy.
    • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
    • Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility to ensure accurate billing and authorization.
    • Submit insurance claims and assist in tracking outstanding claims and predeterminations.
    • Communicate with providers to ensure accurate treatment planning and scheduling.
    • Review treatment plans and present them to patients.
    • Explain insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, expected cost, and payment options.
    • Collect co-pays at time of service and post to account.
    • Assist in posting payments accurately from insurance EOBs.
    • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow while optimizing office productivity.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting.
    • Knowledge of dental insurance verification procedures, plans and coding.
    • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of dental records.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently, with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
    • Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix) preferred.
    • Strong work ethic, reliable and positive attitude.
