Key Responsibilities: • Perform oral health assessments, including reviewing medical history, dental charting, and periodontal screening • Provide preventative dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants • Take and process digital dental radiographs • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Adhere to infection control and OSHA regulations • Collaborate with dentists and other dental team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications: • Completion of an accredited Dental Hygienist course • SC licensure as a Dental Hygienist • One year of experience working as a Dental Hygienist • Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
Physical Requirements: • Must possess ability to communicate in the dominant language of the geographic region • Must be able to lift 30 pounds • Vision and hearing corrected to within normal limits is required • Must be willing to work on mobile unit
Job Summary: The Dental Hygienist will work collaboratively with our dentists and dental support staff to provide preventative and therapeutic dental care to our diverse patient population. This role is key in supporting our mission of improving community oral health and promoting education around dental hygiene.
