Availability Between: Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:30pm, plus one Saturday per month from 8:30 AM-2:00 PM.

The Dental Hygienist will clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease such as gingivitis, The position also educates patients on oral hygiene and provides preventive care such as taking x-rays and applying fluoride or sealants.
Responsibilities:
Provides routine hygiene treatment for children and adults.
Performs preventive dentistry procedures to include dental prophylaxis, oral screenings, and topical fluoride applications.
Keeps clear clinical documentation in patient files regarding services provided.
Help patients develop and maintain good oral health by explaining the relationship between diet and oral health. Inform patient how to select toothbrushes. Show patients how to brush and floss their teeth.
Remove calculus, stains and plaque from teeth; take and develop dental x-rays; apply cavity preventive agents such as fluorides and pit and fissure sealants.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program.
Experience: 1-2 years' experience as a dental hygienist; Current CPR/AED certification
Certification/Licensure: Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a dental hygienist.
Software/Hardware: Dentrix preferred
