Napervillle Dental Specialists is looking for a friendly, colllaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team!
Schedule
- Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
- Tuesday 8:30am-6:00pm
- Wednesday 8:30am-4:00pm
- Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm
- Friday 7:00am-2:00pm
Patient Schedule
- Single column, average of 7 patients/day
- 60 minute prophys and recalls
- 90 minute SRPs
- 90 minute New Patient appointments

Our multi-specialty practice offers general, cosmetic and implant dentistry in the heart of downtown Naperville under the guidance of board-certified prosthodontist Dr. Anthony LaVacca. In addition to Dr. LaVacca, we have a board-certified endodontist, two general dentists, a board-certified dental anesthesiologist and a board-certified oral surgeon on staff.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dentalwith or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
