Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental hygiene services and direct patient care.
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and debridement.
- Conduct new patient examinations and collect clinical data.
- Record and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Prepare and break down treatment operatories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and irrigation therapy as needed.
- Assist dentists by communicating patient findings and treatment recommendations.
- Identify restorative treatment opportunities and communicate findings to the doctor.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Current Indiana Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Maintain continuing education requirements for license renewal.
- Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to educate and build rapport with patients.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
- Fridays end at 3:00 PM
