    Responsibilities

    • Provide preventive dental hygiene services and direct patient care.
    • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and debridement.
    • Conduct new patient examinations and collect clinical data.
    • Record and maintain accurate patient documentation.
    • Prepare and break down treatment operatories.
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
    • Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and irrigation therapy as needed.
    • Assist dentists by communicating patient findings and treatment recommendations.
    • Identify restorative treatment opportunities and communicate findings to the doctor.
    • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and patient education.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
    • Current Indiana Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
    • Maintain continuing education requirements for license renewal.
    • Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal therapy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to educate and build rapport with patients.
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
    • Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.

    Schedule

    • Full-Time
    • Monday through Friday
    • No weekends
    • Fridays end at 3:00 PM
