Position Overview
Do you love helping patients achieve healthier smiles while building meaningful relationships along the way? Lifetime Dental Care is looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! In this role, you’ll do more than provide preventive care—you’ll help patients understand their oral health, feel comfortable during their visits, and take an active role in maintaining healthy smiles. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
- Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
- Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
- Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
