We’re looking for a passionate, compassionate Dental Hygienist who takes pride in patient care, enjoys building relationships, and wants to be part of a close-knit practice where your work truly makes a difference.

- Monday & Wednesday
- 7:15 AM morning huddle | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- 1-hour lunch break
- Tuesday & Thursday
- 7:15 AM morning huddle | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break

What You’ll Do
- As a Dental Hygienist at Makowski Dental, you’ll play an important role in both patient care and education. Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive patient screenings, including oral health assessments, medical history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck examinations, charting, and vital signs
- Take digital radiographs
- Provide excellent preventive hygiene care, including proficiency with Cavitron and Prophy Jet
- Perform periodontal charting and assess hard and soft tissues
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
- Take impressions when needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, nutrition, and maintaining optimal oral health
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
- Accurately document existing restorations, decay, periodontal conditions, and recommended treatment
- Follow practice protocols for infection control, biohazard safety, quality assurance, referrals, implants, periodontal care, and emergency procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment environment
- Build positive, trusting relationships with patients and contribute to a great overall patient experience
What We’re Looking For
- Active Colorado RDH license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- A compassionate, positive attitude
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care
