Dental Front Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and patient-focused Dental Front Office Administrative Assistant to join our growing general dentistry practice. The ideal candidate must have previous front desk experience in a general dental office and would ideally be proficient with Dentrix practice management software.


Responsibilities


  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Work the office re-care and unscheduled treatment reports to maintain a complete
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
  • Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements.
  • Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications


  • Previous front office experience in a general dentistry practice required.
  • Proficiency with Dentrix dental software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
