About the Role
4 Kids Dental is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Specialist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Hialeah, FL. If you thrive in a fast-paced dental environment and have a knack for billing and insurance, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, managing appointment scheduling and front desk operations
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
- Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims and handle claim denials
- Process patient billing, collect co-pays, and manage accounts receivable
- Coordinate treatment plan presentations and explain financial options to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage recall and confirmation calls
Requirements:
- Previous dental front desk experience required
- Hands-on experience with dental insurance billing, claims submission, and EOBs
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of dental CDT codes and insurance coordination of benefits
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
