Position Title: Front Desk Coordinator

Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

The Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in fulfilling this mission by ensuring every patient interaction—whether by phone, online, or in person—is welcoming, organized, and professional. This full-time position helps create a smooth, positive patient experience while supporting the efficiency and success of the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction & First Impressions: Greet and check in patients in a warm, friendly manner; answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Scheduling & Communication: Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments to maintain an organized and productive provider schedule.
  • Administrative Operations: Maintain accurate electronic and paper patient records, handle correspondence, and manage daily front office administrative tasks.
  • Financial & Treatment Support: Assist with presenting treatment plans and financial options, process payments, and support insurance verification.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with administrative and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and a positive, drama-free work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience required (2+ years in a dental or medical setting strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing speed of ~40 WPM with minimal errors. Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette, strong multi-tasking abilities, self-motivation, and reliability.
