Join Chapa-De’sDental team as a Dental Eligibility Coordinator, where you’ll help ensure patients are prepared for their appointments by verifying insurance coverage, eligibility, and payment information. You’ll work closely with patients, Treatment Coordinators, and Billing to make sure information is accurate and help create a smooth dental care experience.
Hourly Pay:$25.00-$28.58
Schedule:Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:
VerifyMedi-Cal and private dental insurance eligibility, coverage, and patient responsibilitybefore appointments.
Review patient records, demographics, appointments, and insurance information for accuracy.
Communicate with patients regardingcoverage, copays, balances, Sliding Scale, and payment options.
Work closely withTreatment Coordinators and Billingto resolve insurance, eligibility, and documentation issues.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Patient Services Representative or in a similar dental front-office role, such as Call Center, Treatment Coordination, or Referrals.
At least 1 year of experience with dental terminology and eligibility, including knowledge of Medi-Cal and private insurance coverage and frequencies.
