Dental Assistant - Westchester, NY

About the Role 

We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants for temporary assignments throughout the Westchester area. This is a great opportunity for dental professionals looking for flexible work, extra shifts, or short-term assignments while maintaining control over their schedules. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments 
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms 
• Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable requirements 
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside assistance 
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation 
• Follow infection-control, safety, and OSHA standards 
• Provide patients with a welcoming, professional experience 
• Support the dental team with daily clinical and administrative needs 

Qualifications 

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required 
• Strong understanding of dental procedures and clinical protocols 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including Monday–Sunday shifts 
• Relevant certifications/credentials preferred where applicable
