About the Role:Â Â Â
As a Dental Assistant, you will work directly with dentists and patients to assist with dental procedures and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. You will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their best smile by assisting with dental procedures, providing excellent patient care, and supporting office operations.Â
Responsibilities:Â
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, building trust with young patients and their families for a stress-free visit.Â
- Educate children and their parents on proper oral care and the importance of regular dental checkups, making learning fun and accessible.Â
- Take X-rays and complete coronal polishingÂ
- Accurately maintain patient records, ensuring thorough charting and documentation.Â
- Keep the clinical area well-organized, strictly following infection control protocols, such as regular sterilization of instruments, to maintain safety and hygiene.Â
- Prepare treatment rooms prior to patient arrival by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and available.Â
What We're Looking For:Â
- Current Dental Assistant (DA) Certification: Radiation/CPR/Infection ControlÂ
- Availability to work on weekendsÂ
- Positive and friendly attitudeÂ
