Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our dynamic endodontic practice.  The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during endodontic procedures.  This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30-5:00 pm.  Because we are an emergency based treatment practice, we sometimes work through lunch and/or stay late.  You must have the ability to work through lunch and/or stay late.


Responsibilities 
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
  • Take x-rays and CBCT scans as required, adhering to safety protocols
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
  • Utilize dental software such as TDO patient records management
  • Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and exams using four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and managing waste disposal.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant and have your RDA license
  • CPR certified
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with x-ray procedures and equipment is required
