    Description

    Solon Smiles | Dental Assistant | Full-Time

    At Solon Smiles, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding clinical care and an excellent patient experience.

    Schedule

    • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Some Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC guidelines
    • Assist the dentist with a variety of procedures, including restorative, crown and bridge, extractions, and Invisalign
    • Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
    • Prepare and maintain dental materials and instruments
    • Accurately record treatment notes and update patient charts
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
    • Maintain infection control and ensure compliance with safety protocols
    • Stock and organize clinical supplies

    Qualifications

    • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
    • Current radiology certification required
    • Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or other dental software preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
    • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
