As our Dental Assistant, you are the operational backbone of our clinical team. Working directly alongside our doctors and clinical staff, you will facilitate smooth chairside operations, manage patient comfort, capture crisp digital diagnostics, and keep daily practice flow running on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Chairside Assisting: Provide seamless 4-handed chairside assisting across general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and clear aligner procedures.
Digital Imaging & Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and assist with accurate clinical charting.
Patient Care & Hospitality: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and maintain a warm, reassuring chairside manner.
Operatory & Flow Management: Efficiently prepare, breakdown, sanitize, and restock treatment operatories between appointments.
Sterilization & Safety: Manage instrument processing, maintain sterilization equipment, and strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
Team Collaboration: Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and front-desk staff to keep the daily schedule density optimized and stress-free.
Certification: Active Arizona Dental Radiologic Proficiency / X-Ray Certification [REQUIRED].
Experience: Prior chairside Dental Assisting experience in a general dentistry practice is preferred (we are also open to motivated, highly driven new graduates!).
Technical Acuity: Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and standard chairside setups.
