    Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant

    Location: San Rafael, CA
    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
    Employment Type: Direct Hire
    Compensation: Up to $30 per hour, depending on experience

    A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a newly established, modern dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, team-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
    • Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, restorative, implant, and surgical procedures
    • Take digital X-rays and intraoral images
    • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
    • Review postoperative instructions with patients
    • Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
    • Monitor and restock clinical supplies
    • Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
    • Perform all duties permitted by the candidate’s California license and certifications

    Requirements

    • Previous dental assisting experience
    • Current California Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant credentials, as applicable
    • Current dental X-ray certification
    • Current CPR certification
    • Knowledge of OSHA and infection-control requirements
    • Strong communication, organization, and chairside assisting skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a growing practice
