Position DescriptionThe Dental Assistant I (DA I) at Honor Community Health (HCH) is an essential part of our high-performing dental care team.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Lead Dental Assistant. The DA I provides direct and indirect patient care while assisting dentists in delivering evidence-based patient-centered care.  The DA I is also responsible for completing general office duties and patient records, as well as monitoring various dental processes.  To excel in this position, the Dental Assistant should prioritize building and maintaining strong relationships within HCH’s centers and with the administrative team.  Working closely with colleagues will foster a culture of excellence and a shared commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality dental care to all.

What are we looking for?

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical program for a dental assistant is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification must be maintained.
• 3+ months in a similar dental assisting position is required.
• Strong computer skills utilizing:
  • Electronic Dental Record (EPIC preferred)
  • Microsoft Office
• A flexible and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
