Join our high-end periodontal practice on Manhattan's Upper East Side! We're seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant who enjoys specialized patient care and wants to build a long-term career with a supportive, established team.

What You'll Do

• Provide chairside assistance during periodontal and surgical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Support smooth clinical workflows and a positive patient experience.
• Work across our two Manhattan locations.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of surgical or periodontal dental assisting experience (required).
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with dental technology and learning new systems.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and interest in long-term growth.

Schedule & Benefits

• Pay: $28–$32/hour.
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Locations: East 61st Street (3–4 days/week) and Central Park West (1–2 days/week).

Requirements

2 years of surgical and or Perio dental assisting experience

Benefits

1. Personal/Sick 7 paid days per calendar year, available after 3 months probation

2. Vacation: 5 days of vacation per calendar year, available after 3 months probation – written requests must be given in advance to the doctors. 5 additional days available after 1 year of employment.

3. 10 paid holidays per calendar year: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Conference Day (“Our Columbus Day”), Thanksgiving, The Day After Thanksgiving and Christmas.

4. Scrubs: Qualified for a set of scrubs (top & bottom) equal to the number of days worked plus one. This amounts to 6 sets of scrubs.

5. 401K plan: After 2 full years of employment you will be offered enrollment into the plan. Employee has the option to opt out. If they do opt in to the plan, employer will provide a 3% match.

6. Health Insurance: United Healthcare Oxford. Offered but not mandatory. Employer contributes 70% towards the monthly premium cost.
