Coastal Empire Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is seeking an experienced, motivated
Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Details
- Part-time, 32 hours per week
- Specialty practice focused on periodontics, dental implants, and oral surgery
- Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Periodontal and oral surgery experience preferred (preference will be given to candidates with specialty experience)
- Experience assisting with surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and periodontal surgery
- Proficient with Dentrix, DEXIS, and Sidexis
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments
- Assist the periodontist during periodontal and oral surgery procedures
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate clinical records in Dentrix
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
